Are angels real?

Yes—the Bible treats angels as real, created beings, not just symbols or comforting ideas.

Scripture describes them as spiritual beings who serve God. Hebrews calls them "ministering spirits sent out to serve those who are going to inherit salvation" (Hebrews 1:14). Psalm 103 pictures them carrying out God's commands and praising him.

Angels show up throughout the Bible bringing messages, protecting people, and worshiping God. They aren't humans who died and got promoted to angel status—Scripture treats angels and humans as two different kinds of beings God made, each with their own purpose.

We can't see angels the way we see each other, which makes them easy to write off as make-believe. But something being invisible to us doesn't make it unreal. The Bible simply describes a universe bigger than what our eyes can catch—one physical and one spiritual, both made and ruled by the same God.
