How do I know whether God is speaking to me or it's just my own thoughts?

Start with what's actually reliable: the Bible is the one place Christians agree God has clearly spoken, already tested and settled. Anything else—a strong feeling, an impression, a sense of direction—should be held more loosely than that.

Scripture itself tells Christians to test impressions rather than trust every one automatically. Does it match what the Bible already teaches? Does it produce wisdom and good fruit rather than pressure or fear? Does it hold up when a trusted, mature Christian looks at it with you?

Christians genuinely disagree about how directly God communicates today—some expect frequent personal impressions, others are more cautious about that. That disagreement is real, and this app won't pretend it's settled.

Not every strong feeling or convenient coincidence is a message. Most of the time, it's just a thought, and that's fine. God's character and instructions are already available to you in Scripture, whether or not anything else feels like a direct word today.
