What if I die and discover I believed the wrong religion?

That fear deserves to be taken seriously, not brushed aside.

No one gets to check what happens after death before choosing what to believe. Everyone—religious or not—has to decide how to live without being completely sure they're right.

Christianity doesn't ask you to get rid of every doubt before it counts. It asks who you're trusting. Not whether you picked correctly out of every religion in the world—but whether Jesus really is who he said he was. It also trusts that God is fair and kind toward people honestly wrestling with belief.

The Bible also says God judges people based on what they actually knew and did with it—not on a test they never had a fair chance to pass.

That doesn't mean what you believe stops mattering. It means this fear can push you to keep looking honestly for the truth, instead of just feeling stuck and scared.
