Did Jesus really exist?

Yes. Most historians—Christian, Jewish, or non-religious—agree a Jewish man named Jesus really lived in Galilee and Judea about 2,000 years ago, and was executed by the Roman governor Pontius Pilate. That's a finding of history, not something you have to take on faith.

The evidence includes early Christian writing—Paul's letters, written just decades after Jesus' life, and the four Gospels—plus writers who weren't Christian at all, like the Roman historian Tacitus and the Jewish historian Josephus. Historians don't usually need this much proof before accepting that someone from that long ago really lived.

But "Jesus existed" and "Jesus rose from the dead and is God" are very different claims. The first is settled history. The second is Christianity's biggest faith claim, and history alone can't fully prove or disprove it.

If you're unsure about Christianity, doubting that Jesus even existed isn't really the strongest place to start.
