Does God really exist?

There is no single argument that forces everyone to believe in God.

The more interesting case is cumulative.

Why does anything exist at all rather than nothing? Why is the universe ordered in ways human reason and mathematics can investigate? Why do its basic conditions permit complex life? Are objective moral obligations real? And how should we understand consciousness, reason and widespread reports of religious experience?

None of those questions simply equals "therefore Christianity." Naturalistic explanations exist, and every argument is disputed.

But taken together, they are why belief in God remains a serious intellectual position rather than merely a gap-filler for things science has not explained.

Even if you conclude that God probably exists, another question remains: what kind of God? Christianity then has to make a further case about Jesus. Theism is a starting point, not the whole argument.
